Basketball Recap: Farragut Takes a Loss

Farragut lost against Perspectives Leadership/Technology back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The match between the Farragut Admirals and the Perspectives Leadership/Technology Warriors didn't end well, with the Farragut Admirals falling 64-46. While losing is never fun, the Admirals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 454th, while the Warriors are ranked 151st).

Perspectives Leadership/Technology's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Phoenix Childs led the charge by putting up 17 points. Childs' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Liiban Debela was another key player, going 5 of 7 on his way to 14 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Farragut and nudges their season record down to 3-10. As for Perspectives Leadership/Technology, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Farragut has already played their next game (against Dyett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Perspectives Leadership/Technology will head out on the road to square off against Northside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Perspectives Leadership/Technology's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
