Volleyball Recap: Lapel Bulldogs vs. Frankton Eagles
Lapel extended their postseason success on Saturday against Frankton. Everything went their way against the Frankton Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.
Lapel's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping Frankton between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-19.
Despite the loss, Frankton saw an underclassman step up: Alana Thompson had seven digs and four aces. That's the most aces Thompson has posted in her last seven matchups.
Lapel is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season. As for Frankton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-18.
