Volleyball Recap: San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Comes Up Short

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-4. They lost 3-0 to the Cabrillo Conquistadores. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Conquistadores apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

As for Cabrillo, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-7 record this season. The game marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Cabrillo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jazlene Brady, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces Brady has posted since back in September of 2024. Madison Foss was another key player, getting 11 digs.

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy has already played their next contest (against Valley Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cabrillo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Atascadero on the 27th.
