Volleyball Recap: Fort Leboeuf Falls to Conneaut Area in First Game of Season

Fort LeBoeuf unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Conneaut Area Eagles on Saturday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Fort LeBoeuf may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18.

Conneaut Area's victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

Looking ahead, Fort LeBoeuf will venture away from home to square off against Mercyhurst Prep at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Conneaut Area, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against McDowell on the 22nd.
