Football Recap: Monticello Takes a Loss

Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 30-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Flying Flucos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Fluvanna County, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Monticello is set to challenge their familiar foe Charlottesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fluvanna County will face off against rival Orange County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
