First Christian entered their tilt with Northside Christian Academy on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on Northside Christian Academy with a sharp 11-2 win. Considering the Lions have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Victoria Loehr made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Arabella Blake was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Corie Wheeler, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

First Christian pushed their record up to 13-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Northside Christian Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: First Christian beat Northside Christian Academy by a score of 8-6 later that day.
