Softball Recap: Coronado Cougars vs. Shadow Ridge Mustangs

Coronado and Shadow Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Coronado had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 6-5. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 14-5 defeat back in April.

Bailey Goldberg was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Paisley Magdaleno, who went 3-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.
