Roxana won the last time they faced Chester and things went their way on Friday too. The Roxana Shells walked away with a 46-33 victory over the Chester Yellowjackets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Shells.

Roxana got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cohen Dugan out in front who went 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Maberry, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Roxana now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Chester, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Roxana will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Salem at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Chester, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Frankfort at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
