Basketball Recap: Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers won the last time they faced Adams Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Knights blew past the Adams Central Flying Jets 60-34. The Knights pushed the score to 48-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Flying Jets had little chance of recovering from.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers was led to victory by Karianne Gilman and Reese Rhodehamel. Gilman posted ten points along with five boards and five steals, while Rhodehamel went 7 of 17 on her way to 17 points and eight rebounds. Rhodehamel is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Amiya Tyree, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 11 points.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive games.
