Football Recap: Cordova Wolves vs. Sheffield Knights
Cordova had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took down the Sheffield Knights 32-14 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.
Despite the loss, Sheffield still got an impressive performance from Radarious Jackson, who picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 34 yards.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cordova will hit the road for the first time this season to take on St. Benedict at Auburndale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sheffield, they will venture away from home to square off against Christian Brothers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
