Volleyball Recap: St. James Tigers vs. Herculaneum Black Cats
St. James was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 45th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Herculaneum Black Cats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19.
St. James' loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Herculaneum, the win got them back to even at 8-8-1.
St. James' road trip will continue as they head out to face Sullivan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. James is facing Sullivan at the right time seeing as Sullivan is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Herculaneum, they will face off against Crystal City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
