Softball Recap: South Albany Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for South Albany's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Silverton Foxes on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Redhawks in their meetings with the Foxes: they've now lost five in a row.

South Albany saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Avery, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

South Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Silverton, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Albany will host McKay at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Silverton, they will take on Dallas at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Foxes will need to watch out since the Dragons have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
