Georgiana had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Monday. They strolled past the McKenzie Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 62-46. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Tigers are ranked 200th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

McKenzie lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Quay Jackson, who went 5 of 12 en route to 11 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Achillious Brazell, who posted eight points and four steals.

Georgiana pushed their record up to 20-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for McKenzie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.

Georgiana wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-52 win against Elba on the 28th. McKenzie has also already played their next contest, a 41-36 defeat against Highland Home on the 28th.
