Basketball Recap: Derryfield Takes a Loss

Derryfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 54-46 to the Profile Patriots. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 65-56 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Derryfield's record is now 0-13. As for Profile, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Derryfield is taking a road trip to take on Winnisquam at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Derryfield is facing Winnisquam at the right time seeing as Winnisquam is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Profile, they will take on Woodsville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodsville will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Profile surely won't give up without a fight.
