While Grove City put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Central Crossing. The Greyhounds put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 6-0 win. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Grove City is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Central Crossing, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-13.

Grove City will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Comets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
