Perry-Lecompton can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Jefferson County North Chargers with a sharp 13-3 win. The victory was familiar territory for Perry-Lecompton who now have three in a row.
Kade Hoffman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hoffman has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Hoffman was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Perry-Lecompton got a massive performance out of Taylor Damme, who went 3-for-3 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs. Trystan Buttram was another key contributor, going 3-for-4 with three runs, a triple, and two RBI.
On Jefferson County North's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailee Welch, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
