Softball Recap: Bexley Lions vs. Northridge Vikings
Bexley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They suffered a rough 22-5 loss at the hands of the Northridge Vikings.
Bexley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyra Duffee, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
On Northridge's side, Gracie Smith made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Smith was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 3-for-5.
In other batting news, Northridge got a massive performance out of Kaitlyn Angus, who scored four runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
