A Season-Best Performance from Max Zavala Leads Dawson over Sam Rayburn
Dawson was led to victory by Max Zavala, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Zavala threw for 336 yards and six touchdowns.

Jordan Hernandez Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Pearland picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jordan Hernandez. Hernandez showed up in a big way, picking up 148 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average receiving yardage north of 100 yards per game (102). He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 60 yards.

Cam Renfro's big game helped extend Manvel's winning streak to three on Friday. Renfro turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 143 yards and two touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 54 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
The win got Manvel back to even at 4-4. Renfro and Manvel will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dawson at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.
