Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Sonoraville

Sonoraville waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Tuesday.

Brylee Cordell paced Sonoraville's offense, picking up eight kills. Cordell got some help from Jenica Glosson and her 13 assists. Jazmine Hunter controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Sonoraville's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Southeast Whitfield County, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Sonoraville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Kell on the 16th. As for Southeast Whitfield County, they will venture away from home to square off against Ridgeland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
