Volleyball Recap: Christian Heritage's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Christian Heritage hadn't done well against Trion recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs. The Lions were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bulldogs, so the Lions were just returning the favor.

Christian Heritage never let Trion on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-14.

Kristen Michmerhuizen paced Christian Heritage's offense, picking up nine kills. Michmerhuizen got some help from Addison Green and her 11 assists. Green and Michmerhuizen didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Christian Heritage's victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-15. As for Trion, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Coincidentally, Christian Heritage and Trion will both be playing Darlington the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
