One must be Plymouth's lucky number: they beat Howell with that score not once but twice on Wednesday. The Wildcats didn't even let the Highlanders on the board, marking the Wildcats' second-straight 1-0 shutout. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Brady Tegen tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Plymouth's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Drew Kime, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Plymouth's win bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Howell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plymouth will welcome Wayne Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Zebras at the right time seeing as the Zebras are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Howell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Lyon East at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
