Softball Recap: Hampton Comes Up Short

Hampton fell victim to Gloucester and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 29-0 to the Dukes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dukes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 28-0 last Tuesday.

Hampton dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Gloucester, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampton will venture away from home to square off against Jamestown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gloucester, they will head out to take on Churchland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
