Volleyball Recap: Pee Dee Academy Extends Winning Streak to Six

Pee Dee Academy came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Wilson Tigers by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Pee Dee Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 20-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Wilson had strong showings from Dhara Vaghela, who had 19 digs, and Allure Steele, who had 11 digs. Vaghela is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Pee Dee Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Wilson, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pee Dee Academy will square off against Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilson, they will face off against Darlington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
