New Bedford is 8-2 against Durfee since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Whalers will be playing at home against the Hilltoppers at 4:45 p.m. One thing working in New Bedford's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.

On Thursday, New Bedford was able to grind out a solid victory over Bishop Stang, taking the game 14-11. The Whalers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Durfee beat Diman RVT 8-4 on Thursday.

New Bedford's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Durfee, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Everything went New Bedford's way against Durfee in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as New Bedford made off with an 11-2 victory. Will the Whalers repeat their success, or do the Hilltoppers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
