Volleyball Recap: Pueblo South Now 12-3 over Last 15 Games

Pueblo South won the last time they faced Canon City and things went their way on Monday too. The Colts were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers.

The win didn't come easy: Canon City scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 28-26, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was David Standiford, who had 20 digs. Those 20 digs gave him a new career-high.

Pueblo South has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Canon City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

Coming up, Pueblo South will venture away from home to take on Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canon City, they will host Fountain Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
