With a playoff win on the line, Woodinville rose to the challenge on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past the Juanita Ravens 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Ravens back in April, they had to take a 9-5 loss.
Noah Vaiphei was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Braden Perry was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Woodinville hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Juanita struck out seven times.
Woodinville's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Juanita, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
