Baseball Recap: Clinton County Takes a Loss

Clinton County was the 12-4 winner over Monroe County when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 12-9 to the Falcons on Thursday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nick Poore stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went 2-for-3 with two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack Poore, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Clinton County's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Monroe County, their record now sits at 12-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Falcons beat Clinton County by a score of 12-9 later that day.
