Seton had won ten straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they bumped up to 7-0 to make it 11. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lakota West Firebirds. The Saints have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Firebirds, too.

Charley Moeddel paced Seton's offense, picking up 12 kills. Moeddel were helped by Penelope Reisman and Kirsten Kemper, who contributed 15 assists each. Moeddel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

As for Lakota West, they moved to 5-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since October 9, 2024.

Lakota West lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zoee Briggs, who had ten digs. Allie Steckman was another key player, getting 15 assists.

Looking ahead, Seton will take on Mount Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Notre Dame will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each game than the last. As for Lakota West, they will face off against Oak Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
