Cypress Bay barely beat Miramar the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cypress Bay Lightning blew past the Miramar Patriots 28-7 on Wednesday. The win was just business as usual for the Lightning, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Cypress Bay's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Miramar, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cypress Bay will face off against Western at 5:45 p.m. on March 5th. As for Miramar, they will head out on the road to take on McArthur at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
