Basketball Recap: Grace Academy Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Grace Academy Lions came up short against the Oak Hill Academy International Warriors and fell 67-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (57), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Grace Academy still got an impressive performance from Tim Burris, who posted 25 points and six rebounds. Burris' big performance that morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Tyrez Neal, who had nine points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Grace Academy's loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Oak Hill Academy International, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Grace Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-58 win against Combine Academy Global on the 1st. As for Oak Hill Academy International, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-58 defeat against New Life Christian Academy on the 2nd.
