Lakeside is 8-2 against Chief Sealth since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Lakeside Lions will be playing at home against the Chief Sealth Seahawks at 7:30 p.m. Lakeside knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Chief Sealth likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Lakeside strolled past Ingraham with points to spare, taking the game 58-44.

Meanwhile, Chief Sealth had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Cleveland 59-42 on Friday. That looming 59-42 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Seahawks yet this season.

Lakeside's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Chief Sealth, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-8.

Lakeside was able to grind out a solid victory over Chief Sealth in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 63-56. Will Lakeside repeat their success, or does Chief Sealth have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
