Soccer Recap: Lemont Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Lemont barely beat Blue Island Eisenhower the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lemont HS' defense stepped up to hand the Cardinals a 4-0 shutout on Saturday. Lemont might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Lemont pushed their record up to 10-3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.
