Baseball Recap: Anderson Takes Down East View in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Anderson walked away with it. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the East View Patriots on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Anderson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for East View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-14-2.

Anderson will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Patriots: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
