On Tuesday Gage Bassett tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. The effort also marked the most strikeouts (four) Bassett has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his seventh in a row with less than two walks. On the season, he has an ERA of 1.58 over 17.7 innings pitched.
