Football Recap: Arvada Bulldogs vs. Fort Lupton Bluedevils
Arvada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 46-6 loss at the hands of the Fort Lupton Bluedevils.
Fort Lupton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gage Hofferber, who rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Those 169 rushing yards gave Hofferber a new career-high. Donte Lenox did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 83 receiving yards.
Arvada's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Fort Lupton, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.
As of now, neither Arvada nor Fort Lupton have any future games scheduled.
