Southeast Bulloch is 8-2 against Johnson since August of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets will challenge the Atomsmashers at 7:00 p.m.

On Monday, Southeast Bulloch came up short against Bryan County and fell 2-0. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Southeast Bulloch was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20.

Johnson not only won last Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 27, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Beach. The Atomsmashers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Johnson was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-19.

Southeast Bulloch's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Johnson, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.

Southeast Bulloch was able to grind out a solid victory over Johnson in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
