Volleyball Recap: South Effingham's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

South Effingham came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Effingham County Rebels. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory back in September.

Morgan Stringer paced South Effingham's offense, picking up nine kills. Stringer got some help from Leah Magana and her 21 assists. Kylie Aquino and Clara Vorel kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

South Effingham's win bumped their record up to 37-10. As for Effingham County, they now have a losing record of 19-20.

Effingham County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Lakeside on the 11th. Hopefully South Effingham paid attention to the Rebels' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Rebels at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
