Baseball Game Preview: Marion-Franklin Red Devils vs. Columbus Torah Academy Lions

The Marion-Franklin Red Devils will square off against the Columbus Torah Academy Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Marion-Franklin didn't have quite enough to beat Briggs and fell 4-3. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Johnson has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Chris Crawford was another, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 18 runs the game before, Columbus Torah Academy was a bit more limited in their game two weeks ago. They came up short against Briggs, falling 9-1.

David Buren was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one run.
