Logan extended their postseason success on Friday against Elida. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tigers 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Longhorns as they're now sitting on five straight.

Logan found their leader in sophomore Joyce Salvador/Jones, who had ten digs and three aces. Salvador/Jones has been hot recently, having also posted 14 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Logan's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Elida, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 21-4 record.

Logan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Quemado on the 15th. As for Elida, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Gateway Christian on the 14th.
