Valley View is a perfect 10-0 against Marion since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Blazers will head out on the road to square off against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Valley View has four straight wins, Marion has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

If Valley View beats Marion with three goals on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Blazers came out on top against Cabot by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Valley View hit the Panthers with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Reed Higgins, Jose Ramirez, and Dylan Vanhoozer.

Meanwhile, Marion scored the most goals they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Nettleton by a score of 5-4. Even if Marion couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Valley View's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those five games. As for Marion, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1.

Valley View took their win against Marion when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blazers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
