Olmsted and Akron squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Olmsted had to settle for second. They took a 49-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Akron Tigers. The Owls' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Olmsted's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Akron, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-1.

As of now, neither Olmsted nor Akron have any future games scheduled.
