Basketball Game Preview: Patrick County Cougars vs. Alleghany Cougars

Patrick County hasn't had much luck against Alleghany recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Patrick County Cougars will get right back to it and host the Alleghany Cougars at 7:00 p.m.

Patrick County is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They took a hard 62-47 fall against Chatham.

Meanwhile, Alleghany hadn't done well against Radford recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Alleghany walked away with a 48-35 victory over Radford. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Alleghany has also been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Patrick County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
