Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside). They were the clear victors by a 22-3 margin over the Water Valley Blue Devils on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 17 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Riverside, bringing their record up to 19-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.6 runs over those games. As for Water Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-16.

Riverside will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blue Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
