Football Recap: Mount Anthony Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mt. Mansfield last Friday, Mount Anthony came back down to earth. The Patriots came up short against the Hartford Hurricanes on Friday, falling 47-21. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-7.

When it comes to explaining why Mount Anthony lost, don't look at Asa Reis. Despite the final result, he rushed for 114 yards and one TD while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Reis showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 57 yards.

Mount Anthony's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hartford, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
