Basketball Recap: Parsons Has No Trouble Against Mulvane

Parsons posted their biggest victory since January 18th on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Mulvane Wildcats as the Parsons Vikings made off with a 75-53 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Vikings needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Canon Lazier, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 22 points. The dominant performance gave Lazier a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Manny Myers, who posted 15 points and three steals.

Parsons now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Mulvane, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Parsons didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 78-36 loss against Collegiate on the 12th. As for Mulvane, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-42 defeat against Labette County on the 12th.
