Softball Recap: Leesville Takes a Loss

Leesville lost against Eunice back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Leesville Wampus Cats lost 23-6 to the Eunice Bobcats.

Ava Brown made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Avery Bealer, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Leesville dropped their record down to 7-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Eunice, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leesville will face off against LaGrange at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eunice, they will take on St. Edmund at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
