Football Game Recap: East Nashville Magnet vs. Pearl-Cohn

Everything went Pearl-Cohn's way against East Nashville Magnet on Friday as they made off with a 35-6 victory. Followers of Pearl-Cohn probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.

Pearl-Cohn's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 21 points in the first half. East Nashville Magnet countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 21-6 going into the half. The Pearl-Cohn defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup. The win was the 5th in a row for Pearl-Cohn, as they raised their record to 7-2. With their first loss of the season, East Nashville Magnet fell to 8-1.

In two weeks Pearl-Cohn take on Whites Creek at 7:00 PM. Whites Creek took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Pearl-Cohn's good fortune. East Nashville Magnet will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Northeast at 7:00 PM. East Nashville Magnet have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Northeast are surely hoping to exploit.
