It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Elkton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 55-48 win over the Harford Tech Cobras. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 39-29 back in January.

Elkton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Paige Beougher, who posted 18 points. Those 18 points gave Beougher a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brynn Jefferson, who earned 14 points.

Elkton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Harford Tech, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

As for Harford Tech, they will venture away from home to square off against North East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harford Tech is facing North East at the right time seeing as North East is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
