While New Bremen's victory against New Knoxville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cardinals sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Rangers on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Rangers: they've now won eight in a row.

New Bremen now has a winning record of 9-8. As for New Knoxville, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Bremen will challenge Fort Loramie at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
