Football Recap: Louisburg Warriors vs. Bunn Wildcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Granville, Louisburg was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Bunn Wildcats by a score of 26-14. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.
Leading Louisburg to victory were Dondre Allen and Mikah Mcknight. Allen rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while Mcknight rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns. Those 107 rushing yards gave Allen a new career-high.
Louisburg didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Trashawn Manson. The win got Louisburg back to even at 5-5. As for Bunn, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9.
